Seems to be the only legit feature they have. Of you can use the Windows-built-in "Storage Sense" feature: Windows Settings > System > Storage > Configure Storage Sense or run it nowįor clearing browser caches, each browser has a function for that, somewhere in their menu. Temporary files clean themselves up automatically. What does this exactly do? Registry doesn't need to be "cleaned". Microsoft actually discourages the use of tools like registry cleaners. At worst, they can actually cause damage. This kind of software at best doesn't add much value beyond what's already built into Windows. It will basically only detect registry ntries belonging to that software you uninstall and give you the choice if you want to delete them or not.įor Duplicate finders, there are tons of other good ones. It is opensource and also comes with registry check, after uninstalling a software. Its just txt data, wont take any space from your PC, and unused registry entries will stay unused, so nothing to worry about.įor uninstalling Softwares I recommend BCUninstaller. And to be honest, there is no much need of cleaning it. So I would not allow any registry cleaner to touch my registry. A wrong step, and you can accidently mess up your whole system. I would actually dont touch registry cleaners. As Chomu_ aready mentioed, for cleaning Bleachbit is recommended.
